This is the “classic 6 series BMW” recently featured, and recommended, on the UK’s “Fifth Gear” television motoring programme. Frankly, I do not want to sell it because I love it but … well practicality (and the wife) rules. I just no longer do the annual mileage I once did.
I have owned this car since June 2000 and since then it has been maintained regardless of cost by the local BMW specialist.
About 3 years ago, the front wings were replaced and the car re-sprayed. The engine, gear box and all the mechanical parts are in first class condition. The MoT test certificate expires at the end of May 2009 and the car is taxed until November 2008.
The car is a 2-door automatic, variable mode gearbox (sport, economy, 1-2-3), coupe with four seats and has an engine capacity of 3430 cc. It is really quite fast and will cruise all day at 100 mph (speed restrictions permitting) at only 2,700 rpm.
It is in royal blue metallic with modern BMW alloy wheels (these were fitted about 4 years ago but the original wheels will be handed over at completion of the sale). This means that tyres now cost only £80 pounds each instead of around £165!
I plan on getting a BMW 530 Diesel tourer (estate model) so a part exchange deal is possible if the buyer has one of these.
The car can be viewed by prior appointment in Reading, Berkshire (UK) so email me at paul@sunseabulgaria.com if you are interested.
